Selfreliance Ukrainian American Federal Credit Union Renews with ESP for Five Years
Spokane Valley, WA – 02/09/2016 – Selfreliance Ukrainian American Federal Credit Union (SUAFCU) has renewed as an in-house client with Enhanced Software Products, Inc. (ESP).
Chicago-based SUAFCU serves its members with 7 locations across two states. SUAFCU currently serves over 20,000 members and is responsible for over $445,000,000 in assets.
SUAFCU has been an in-house client of ESP’s since 1996. Over the past twenty years, SUAFCU has seen a growth of 115% in assets and 72% in membership while working together with the team at ESP. With their renewal they are continuing core processing on the FORZA platform, home banking, and check imaging among other services.
“We work hard for all of our clients and SUAFCU is no exception. We work hard to turn out solutions that the credit union and the members want. We are flexible and have the ability to turn around solutions our clients need.,” said Shaun Murray, President of ESP. “We recently opened a new offsite data center in Chicago and are working towards moving solutions to that location. We will be increasing speed, decreasing latency and expanding our offerings from this location. SUAFCU is working with us to ensure that we can offer similar solutions up to all of our clients in the Midwest and the Caribbean.”
Vitaliy Kutnyy, AVP of IT & Product Development for SUAFCU, was fundamental to the team that researched core processing solutions. He stated there were a lot of reasons to renew their contract with ESP. “Obviously our relationship with the ESP management team and the FORZA platform were the two most important factors when deciding to renew our contract. Working with the staff and management team was excellent. Our staff is comfortable working with the system.”
Five years ago, SUAFCU did their due diligence in researching other core processing options. The most important factor in their decision to stay with ESP was their relationship with ESP management and staff. “At that time FORZA was new and didn’t have many clients using it. But, we felt that ESP was doing a good job and that we could rely on them.”
ESP’s long-term goal is to move all of SUAFCU’s data, including core processing, to the Chicago Data Center. This increase in availability can only increase ESP’s availability to current clients and new clients alike.
