Spokane Valley, WA – October 23th, 2020 – IBEW/SJ Cascade Federal Credit Union of Salem, Oregon has chosen to convert to ESP’s FORZA3™. The conversion will take place on October 31st, 2020.
Chartered in 1961, the credit union now serves 2,200 members. It was established to serve IBEW Local 280 members strictly. In 1995, it merged with Statesman Journal Federal Credit Union, which served local newspaper employees. In 2005, Roth’s Employees Federal Credit Union also merged, increasing its membership to its current size.
When starting its discovery process for a new core processor, IBEW/SJ Cascade was looking for a vendor that could provide more responsive customer support. ESP fit the bill with 24/7/365 telephone support, and the extensive online support found on their secure client portal.
IBEW/SJ Cascade was also looking for a vendor that could deploy more member-benefitting products and services. ESP partners with over 75 third-party vendors covering every financial service from ACH to website design firms. Every class of solution that ESP serves has multiple options for vendors.
At conversion, IBEW/SJ Cascade will start with a suite of essential services, including Digital Documents, Paperless Receipts, and our new MFA product (Multi-Factor Authentication). With those deployments, it is off to a great start. Still, there are already plans for more deployments in the near future that will directly benefit members.
ESP’s Conversion Coordinator, Lexi Szabo, has been heading the conversion process for over a year is excited about the approaching conversion.
“Ultimately, IBEW/SJ Cascade picked ESP because they like us. They like what we stand for, they like our products, and they’re looking to grow. Most of all, they want to offer more to their members. With ESP, they feel like they get all the support they need to do all of that.”
