Internation Women's Day 2023

Kathy Murray started Enhanced Software Products, Inc. (ESP) in 1996. She created a thriving company that continues to positively impact our credit union clients, their members, and our community in Spokane. With grit and tenacity, she carved out a space in the Core Processing industry - battling giants listed on the Fortune 500.

Kathy knew one clear advantage ESP had over its competitors was providing stellar customer service. With this tenet, she built a company that always prioritizes the client - a large part of which is 24/7/365 phone support. Customers can call anytime, day or night, to speak with a Client Services Representative, which isn't common in the core processing industry. Plus, she imparted the philosophy that ESP clients are partners in success.

The spirit of partnership and collaboration instilled by Kathy is also extended to our third-party vendors. Another underlying philosophy is that ESP will partner with any vendor the credit union chooses. Many credit unions have built long-term relationships with existing vendors and wish to retain those relationships after conversion. ESP will accommodate any vendor a credit union chooses. ESP currently connects to over seventy vendors in the financial services sector, giving credit unions the ultimate flexibility in crafting their core processing environment.

We thank Kathy Murray for her foresight, leadership, and legacy of service and a happy International Women's Day. We are successfully supporting credit unions all over the world based on the philosophies you formed in the beginning.

Over the past 27 years, we have been fortunate to work alongside many powerful, driven, and truly influential women. They have worked in all areas of ESP, including data processing, software development, management, and customer support, and currently make up 40% of our staff. Within our Team and from our clients, we celebrate you and your positive impact on those around you.

International Women's Day provides a structure to celebrate and recognize women's social, economic, cultural, and political achievements worldwide. This day has been observed since the early 1900s and is now recognized by many countries around the globe. International Women's Day provides an opportunity to reflect on progress made (through good and challenging times) and celebrate acts of courage and determination by women who have played an extraordinary role in history.
