20 Years In: Jeff Chase Provides Stability to ESP Operations
In October, we celebrate Jeff Chase's 20th work anniversary with Enhanced Software Products, Inc. (ESP).
Born in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, and raised in Troy, Montana, Jeff came to Spokane to pursue an education at Spokane Community College. Majoring in Computer Programming and Data Processing, he learned the fundamentals of the modern business environment, ultimately earning his Associate's of Applied Science degree.
After college, Jeff worked for many years in IT for a healthcare organization before landing a position in ESP Operations. After eighteen years of dedicated service, he was made Operations Manager.
In a typical workday, Jeff processes many files from third-party vendors through FORZA³™ on behalf of ESP's credit union clients. He works closely with other ESP departments to ensure that client transactions flow properly and efficiently through the system. Additionally, he manages the Operations schedule, ensuring that staffing levels are sufficient to run the department 24/7/365, around the clock.
As for his longevity with ESP, Jeff attributes it to a superior work environment where it's stress-free, easy to communicate with management, and a pleasure working with wonderful team members. Foremost is the stability he finds in ESP, which has been serving credit unions since 1996. He intends to stay with ESP until retirement.
"I love that there is no stress from ESP staff. They're very decent people, and through communication and teamwork, we're able to tackle any issues that arise."
Matt Lefler, ESP's Vice President and manager overseeing Operations, finds Jeff's devotion to ESP critical to ongoing success. "Jeff has been a stalwart fixture of our Operations department since day one, twenty years ago. Fundamentally, ESP is a core data processor, and Jeff and his team perform this primary function daily, ensuring that our client's credit union members get their money in their accounts on time and their bills paid. His 'can-do' attitude and positive demeanor make working with him a pleasure."
